Dress Code & Class Guidelines

At Elisballet, we aim to create a positive and focused learning environment. Please take a moment to review our dress code and class expectations to help your dancer feel confident, comfortable, and prepared.

*Dancers may wear a leotard in any color, with an optional skirt in any color and ballet tights. This allows for self-expression while maintaining a unified and professional look.

*Long hair must be neatly tied back, off the neck and away from the face, to ensure freedom of movement and visibility.

*Ballet shoes are required for all ballet-based classes. Socks are not allowed, as they can be slippery and unsafe on the dance floor.

*For Step & Move classes, dancers should wear comfortable athletic clothing and sneakers that allow them to move freely and safely.

*For safety reasons, please avoid jewelry such as long earrings, necklaces, bracelets, rings, and anklets during class.

*Dancers should bring a labeled water bottle to stay hydrated throughout class. Water only, please—no juice or sports drinks in the studio.

*Food, snacks, and gum are not allowed inside the dance room to keep the space clean and safe for all students.

*We encourage dancers to use the bathroom before class begins to minimize disruptions during instruction.

*Please encourage your dancer to arrive on time, dressed and ready to begin, so they can fully benefit from warm-ups and instruction.

➤ Parents are welcome to stay and wait inside the building.
➤ For the Tiny Steps Together class, each student must be accompanied by one adult during the session.

Thank you for helping us maintain a safe, respectful, and inspiring environment for all our dancers!
