About

Elisballet School

Elisballet School was founded in 2024 with the heart to inspire young dancers through the beauty and discipline of ballet. What began as a small program has quickly grown into a vibrant community where children are encouraged to express themselves creatively, build confidence, and develop strong technique in a nurturing environment. Our mission is to make dance accessible, joyful, and meaningful—instilling a love for movement while fostering excellence, character, and creativity in every student.

Elisabet Delgado’s dance education flourished at the renowned Cuban National Ballet School, where she received rigorous classical training under the guidance of legendary instructors Fernando Alonso and Ramona de Saá. Her talent and dedication earned her the opportunity to perform with Pro Danza, one of Cuba’s leading ballet companies, directed by Laura Alonso—the daughter of the iconic ballerina Alicia Alonso.

After relocating to New York City in 2012, Elisabet continued her professional career, performing with the Brooklyn Ballet Company until 2022. Her time with the company allowed her to grow artistically while connecting with diverse audiences through both classical and contemporary works.

Alongside her performance career, Elisabet developed a deep passion for teaching and sharing the beauty of ballet with younger generations. Over the years, she has taught at more than twenty institutions across New York City, including the prestigious Ballet Hispánico School of Dance, Brooklyn Ballet, and Ballet Academy East. Her experience spans teaching students of all ages and levels, from early childhood creative movement to pre-professional ballet technique.

Elisabet founded Elisballet Dance School, where she currently serves as founder and director. Her school is rooted in the belief that every child should have access to high-quality dance education in a nurturing and joyful environment. She is deeply committed to inspiring her students through discipline, creativity, and a strong foundation in classical ballet.
